If there is no asterix (*) there are no new posts in that forum since you last visited it. When you go to a forum with new posts you can see form the *new* button or asterix (*) again which threads have new posts.

What you do is edit the image, but make a duplicate by selecting "save a copy". Then move that duplicate (which will have a -1 at the end of the name) into the new folder. I think it's easier to just have all your pictures saved on your computer, with an option of deleting and moving them around as much as you want, without worrying about broken links. I think what I'll do is start making separate folders in photobucket and then slowly and diligently replacing the links to the photos I've posted. This way, my links are not broken and I get my account cleaned up.

You can try Windows Movie Maker, though. It has an option for speeding up video (x2) and slowing it down by half.
