I can try to give some insight from how I saw it to your questions, but the ones from IMDb only show that the person asking them did not (a) understand what they were seeing, (b) remember the movie particularly well, (c) this is a superhero graphic novel for gosh sakes. It was never meant to be REAL.

What holes did you feel were left open by the end of "The Dark Knight", Therese? I felt that the length of the ending took pains to close off all the main story arcs.
No doubt there will be sequels, there are a range of colourful villains that we have not yet had the pleasure of meeting again. I'm actually not surprised about the disappointment towards "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" considering they did squish in the three final books into one movie. That's disappointing Mylan. I'm never really that excited about sequels. I didn't think the first Sisterhood movie was that great, so I didn't have any expectations about the sequel, so have had no desire to see it.

I finally went to see The Dark Knight yesterday! My hubby was nice enough to watch the kids while I went to see it by myself. All I can say is WOW! It's really sad that we don't have the talent that was Heath Ledger around anymore. He completely...

I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 yesterday. I didn't like it as much as the first one. It was quite disappointing actually. My younger sister, whom has read the entire 4 book series, didn't like it at all. She said they screwed up the entire storyline and was nothing like what happened in the books, which is quite disappointing because she really enjoyed the books. They were both rated MA15+ here - so any kid any age below 15 could see them with an adult. Personally I think there should be an absolute lower limit set on films, and an advised age also given. Most of these I would suggest are not for 12 and under - more for adult concepts and the structure of the film than even violence and language and drug & alcohol use.

I saw the Dark Knight today, and all I can say is wow. It was scary, funny, and thrilling all at once. Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker, and Christian Bale sure makes a good Batman.

Only problem with it was the fact that it was so long, and is definitely not rated high enough by the cinema. 12A?! That means they can let anyone under 12 see it with an adult... I'm sorry but why do they let violence be shown to 12 year olds, let alone the scenes with

Oh Theresa, I am so glad you finally watched P.S. I LOVE YOU!!!! It is SOOOOOOO good!! And Gerard......oh my.....what a gorgeous man he is in that movie. Such a sweet, funny and sad movie. Can't get enough of it.....just like BECOMING JANE! Hillary Swank is a doll in that movie as well. It hits the heart.......HARD.

Yes Theresa, for a lightweight movie, it certainly packs an emotional punch. And Hilary Swank has to be the luckiest girl on the planet - scoring kisses from three talented guys. You know what surprises me though - that Harry Connick Jnr didn't join in all the singing.

I saw The Dark Knight too Sunday evening!!! I don't have much to say (since everyone has basically stated what I thought) apart from it was PHENOMENAL!!!
My brother is going to see it again on Friday with his friends and he's seeing it in IMAX, Mylan! I'll tell him he's in for another fabulous screening of the movie!!!

I am so glad you enjoyed it so much Mylan. I keep saying that this is THE movie that outstrips the hype. And so far the people posting here are proving that true.

I know there's a lot of interest in Heath - and he is certainly great in this role - bringing an edge that hadn't been seen before - but if it hadn't been for the unfortunate circumstances that happened well after this had finished filming, I think there would have been almost as much emphasis on Aaron...

The Dark Knight

Everyone's been raving about the movie and how wonderful it is, and I must say, I had my hope up quite high going in. I paid $15.25 to see this movie in the IMAX theater, and I must say, the movie worth every cent... and then some! The sweeping views of Gotham City were absolutely mesmerizing and the high octane scenes were stunning! As soon as that screen came on, I was pushed back in my seat and stayed there for the whole 2 1/2 hours....
