What did you think?

I thought he was OK in the Last King ... but I couldn't figure out why shooting the cow was such a big scene ?
That Gillian Anderson is a lucky girl though, getting all close and steamy with James ..... and that Foxy Mulder - he's lush as well - how come she gets all the gorgeous guys ?? |

It may have something to do with her being female, actress and gorgeous herself..
You are only gorgeous..

I thought that film was rubbish - no mice and only a few birds
Now Mickey Mouse - he is a movie star worth watching... and the Stuart Little - tasty ! |

Really? No mice? I am pretty sure I saw lots of mice in that film.. I think you should go see it again and check..

I loved it! I even saw it twice in the cinema and got the movie poster!
The cow scene was big cause he shot the cow with the gun of the president (or the gun of one of his men, I can't remember) 'The Ugandan people wouldn't even think of shooting a cow with the gun of the president cause it would only mean trouble for them, but James is forgiven cuz he is Scottish Or at least that's what I think! |

Brainie is here!!!! WOOHOOO
I saw LKOS twice in the cinema too. In it's entirety that is, because I saw lots of pieces of it lots of times, while working at the projectionfloor of the arthouse I work!! And now I own the DVD of course..
I agree about that scene. It was crucial in the relationship between Idi and Nicholas. And it wás the presidents gun I think. He is a real bad boy in that film, realtionshipwise, but somehow that is why I totally fell for him! Why do we feel so attracted to bad boys? This one was a sweet one though, because eventhough he hit on women that were married, he did really fall in love with them.. or at least he thought he did, so he wasn't all bad.. |

Nah he could've been worse! Lol!
I was actually thinking about going to see it again but I'm not cuz it would mean I would have to go alone and I wouldn't be home before midnight....(they're repeating it!) |

Are you sure you could not persuade someone you know to come with you? Surely not everyone has seen it yet and it IS a very good film. You can tell them about
the oscar for Forest, so they can go to see him while you drool all over the screen for James..

Haha yeah I tried to persuade them already but as I also ask everyone to come with me to movies I haven't seen yet (which also needs a LOT of
persuasion!!!) I think I'll leave LKOS out...

Well you will have to wait for the DVD then (or do you have that already?) Although I have no clue when the Dutch version will be out (if it isn't
already?)
Unless you order it from the US like I did.. |

As long as it will play in your DVD player and have at least English subtitles, I am guessing that would be fine too, right?

Yeah that's no problem, and our dvd player is region free anyway!
Even though UK has the same region code as we have! As long as it has English subs,
it's fine with me!

Same here, which is why I bought mine on Amazon.com in the US. That one was waaaay cheaper than through Amazon.co.uk even WITH post & packaging! That was
the region 1 DVD though, so it may have been more expensive on co.uk because for the UK it was import.
Hopefully the region 2 UK will be cheaper

Yeah I hope so too! On the HMV.co.uk website it currently is 12,99 (pounds) but they never have the same prices in the shops....
At Woolworths it's 14 and I know they do have the same prices in the shops as on the website Virgin has it for 14 as well...but I'm not sure if they have the same prices in the shops! Well I just hope they'll have it on offer when I'm on holiday!

I ended up paying 18 euro's for it with P&P I think.. so even if you find it for 13 pounds (=19,50 euro's) the US one is cheaper..

Yup, I just hope they'll have it on offer for a bit less than that and otherwise I'll just wait!

There's a new LKOS interview on YouTube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=e_ZEEwPPSJM
It seems James would agree with Jean (Beanee Tree) that George W. Bush needs a good thrashing!
