Not bad, do you have any pics of him with a kilt on? I love Scots in kilts!
And are these the pants you were talking about on Ewan?
Here is some more Ewan I think he has a compareable physique to James, except that Ewan has a hairier chest:
And another kilt photo. Is he wears it the way it is supposed to be worn, this is actually a rather kinky pose!!

Apparently Scots don't wear any underwear because they don't care WHO sees their package! I mean.. look here:
ANOTHER Scot in kilt in a kinky pose!!
I liked Sean a lot in Highlander:
I also found one of him with little clothes on but it is from a VERY weird film called Zardoz and I am not sure if I do not just find this picture mainly.. erhm... scary

Zardoz is indeed a most extraordinary film - that floating giant head! An interesting, and very early, SF film. They did well for the level of production
values at the time.
For a gritty'er, grungier SF - Outland is excellent. I've always liked Sean's acting (his directing - not so much) of his long list of credits I particularly like Robin & Marian, Hunt for Red October, Medicine Man, and Rising Sun as well as those brief scenes in Highlander (magnificent cloak). As for other "hot" Scotts, I would add Dougray Scott and Jason Connery to the list. |

That Zardoz looks a bit like the male version of Barbarella..
I think I loves Sean's acting in everything he starred in, even if what he starred in was rubbish!
And thanks for the add Seli, but... WE NEED PICTURES TOO!!! (se we can , and the screen)
( I will see if I can post some when that Photobucket maintenance is finally done.. ) |

hannah kipje wrote: I was trying to but Photobucket was Yep - Sean's acting can go a long way to make a film palatable (eg Avengers, First Knight) Okay - I scoured the internet trying to find a pic of Jason in his family plaid, but there wasn't a pic to be had. He seems to prefer trousers, and plenty of clothes, shame on him. But here are a few pics to get the idea. This was when I first got a crush on him... from Robin of Sherwood, a TV series

I had the same photobucket problem as you can see from my post!
Okay, now I know who he is.. the long haired Robin Hood.. Boy does he look like Legolas! He was not so much my typ, but I do like him in the more recent photo! Maybe he doesn't feel like a Scot.. is his mother Scottish too or was he born in the US maybe? So how about this other bloke you mentioned? Can you find him in a kilt?

Well I found this guy floating around my *ahem*.....
Unfortunately I haven't a clue to his identity because, well, he is missing his head and fingerprinting is no good either...no arms. But those parts that remain are very ..erm...admire-able. So I will name him "The Unknown Uber Kilty". Actually I think he is wearing a mini-kilt and that works well with his boots But it would be a hard arguement to prove that I
really do appreciate him for his mind.....

I do like Billy, he's a fun chap and a good actor. I wish he was in more movies.
Okay - some pics of Dougray Scott - you may remember him from Once Upon a Time, Enigma Code, even one of the Mission Impossible
movies (one of the baddies).

I know him! I don't know what from, but he looks really tasty in that picture with the long hair and what looks like Drew Barrymore.
Very cheeky pose indeed.. and if you want to know why men do that when they wear kilt, you should read the 18+ thread about the subject!
(And i did not know there was something like an Irish kilt?? I thought that was a purely Scottish thing!

There was a lot of to'ing and fro'ing across the Irish Sea between the Scots and the Irish (remember in Braveheart when one of the characters said,
"It's MY Island" (he was the king of Ireland)).
The Irish will tell you that their plaids came first and quite often their traditional patterns are much bigger and simpler than the later Scottish ones (there are ancestral and modern versions of most family plaids in Scotland too). The Irish had a lot of similar cultural things to the Scots, even including bagpipes. (Just an aside, my father's ancestry allows me to wear the Stuart/Stewart tartan). |

I had no idea Seli! (And I don't like Braveheart..
) Thanks for explaining that.
And does that mean you have some Scottish or some Irish blood in you then?
(You know what? We need a kilt emo! )

And does that mean you have some Scottish or some Irish blood in you then?Scottish, although my father's grandfather worked in Ireland, Belfast actually, as a Presbyterian minister. But the Scottish connection also comes through his mother's side, it was her ancestors that married into the Stewart clan. From my mother's side there is also a little touch of Scotland - her father's mother's family were Scots but she didn't know anything about them as her father virtually ran away from home. So we don't have any idea about who they were or what family alliances there were. |

Wow, what a genealogie! My parents and all ancestors I know off are all Dutch, although regarding my last name, there must be some ancestors from Germany as
well..
So can you do the accent?
Guess what, when Emilie sent me on a dancing banana search, I found a few Scottish emo's!!

Whoot! I'm not generally a fan of the dancing banana (overexposure, I guess) but the kilted ones are cute.
No, I can't do the accent, but having spen all of my junior years in a church congregation that was predominantly Scottish, I can understand 99% of what is said. I've also got a tiny bit of German lurking inthe far background of my mothers ancestry - Her mum's folk came from the south of England where there was a large number of Germans settle when the Hanovarian George's were Kings of England. My daughter has distinctive German features - with the high cheek bones, blue eyes, and (when she was little) very blonde hair. |

So German and Scottish ancestors.. your daughters blue eyes are not really a mystery!
I guess if you live in Australia and go back far enough, one of your ancestors is bound to come from Europe, unless you are 100% native! (and if you have a blond, blue eyed daughter, that is not likely I guess )
