Hiya everyone, my name is Jodie and i'm from the England and i'm 16. I thought i would post in here first because there are so many other threads, it
gets a bit daunting. It would be nice to get to know you all first before i try to post in anymore threads. (apart from the ones i already have). And hopefully
i could get some guidence about how the forums work please, as all forums are different, and this one in particular has LOTS of threads lol.

Hi Jodie, great to have another UK resident on the board!
A good way to start on this board is by reading the rules here:http://jamesmcavoy.yuku.com/topic/383 We are very liberal in what you write, but quite strict in how you write it, because for me having a readable board (and a pleasant atmosphere) is very important. 
Two things I would therefore like to ask you right away are:

Now that we have had the boring stuff, on the IMPORTANT stuff! 
First off, you are now our second Benjamin. We have a Greek member named Olga who is also 16 (by now) I think. which makes you two the youngest board members, so we will take EXTRA good care of you! 
I can imagine the board may look a little intimidating, but there are ways to get to understand the structure and workings faster.

It is quite daunting having a look at our board at all the threads, but we don't require you to read through them all. Just take your time to adjust and get into the groove of posting and seeing what works best for you in terms of reading the threads. Most of all HAVE FUN and enjoy reading up about our love James!!! 
We're a happy and tight knit family, if I may say so and once you get the hang of things you'll feel apart of it I'm sure! Hannah hit all the important board points. Btw, feel free to call me Lari (it's my nickname given by the ladies! )

Hiya everyone, thankyou for all the help and kind words. You all have been so welcoming. I definatly intend on sticking around for a while.
(does spelling matter by the way?, i am not the worst speller ever but i have been known to get it wrong sometimes). In responce to one of the questions (i think the one from Hannah) I first saw James when we were studying Macbeth in year 9. The version James was in had just been aired on TV and our teacher recorded it. I was just mesmorized by him straight away, a lot of the girls were. It made Shakespeare a lot more enjoyable (for me anyway). I just thought he was an amazing actor and very versatile (as well as good looking obviously. Well i'm in year 11 now and recently my dad was talking to us about Shameless. We had never seen it before as we already watch a lot of the english soaps weren't really looking for other programmes to watch. But he had heard really great stuff about it and it sounded great so i checked it out. When i wathed it and saw James, i knew that i recognised him from somewhere (and i just thought he was gorgeous, and again very versatile and i loved the character). It took me a while to twig but i got there =]. Sinse then i have just been watching everything that it says he is in on IMDB.com and i am just more and more amazed by him. Having watched interviews with him he just seems like the nicest guy you could ever meet. The fame has totally not gone to his head and he is so himble and down to earth, and i love him for it. It's hard to commit to say my favourite bit of work he has done because i love it all (of what i have seen) and i even like stuff like Inside i'm dancing which was deeply moving. But i am so looking forward to Wanted like you wouldn't believe. I watch the trailer and just get all excited. It has everything i love in a movie, Actionm nail biting stunts, on edge drama, great acting, a great storyline, and best of all James McAvoy =]. Just can't wait. (does anyone know the age rating for it please? i would drive myself nuts if i had to wait longer if i was to young to see it). How about you guys?, how did you all get the Mr McAvoy bug? =] and what are your favourite of his projects? Oh yeah and how many of you are fellow brits all together? I hope my signature is better by the way, sorry about that (i was unaware), please tell me if it is still a problem as i couldn't measure it but i shrunk it considerably. Sorry for writting so much to, but there are so many of you to introduce myself to, and so much to say initially. Thanks again for your kindness All the best Jodie =]

About the age rating, I think we can find it on IMDB, and I also think it changes from country to country. I only know about Italy, I'm pretty sure it will be 15+. |

About spelling: Just do the best you can. You don't have to look every word up in a dictionary, but it helps if read back your posts before you post them to take out any typo's you might notice. Do me one favour though: Try to write the word 'I' with a capital. It makes your post easier to read for me
