I don't believe there will be a sex scene between James' character Valentin and Kerry's, considering this film is based on Tolstoy and the
storyline doesn't seem to fit in what happens between them. I could be wrong...

Even though the story is about Tolstoy, with a comment like, "shakes the shyness out of him", I can't help but think it will be another story
line to follow and that there will be a serious sex scene. Of course, it could always end up on the editing room floor. Spring 2009, we're waiting on you
for this one.

I hope there is more than one storyline in the film.. one-storyline films are boring.. and usually bad as well.
A little thing about the structure of the book though, which proves the book has many story lines: |

Sounds very, very interesting!
The kind of film that I like to watch, anyway. I'm so glad that James is in it!
I read at the IMDb James' board someone commenting that his part wasn't small. So I'm expecting a lot of interaction between Valentin, Tolstoy, Sophia and the daughter (always forget the name!). I think it'll be amazing to see, all those great actors together. Can't wait!

I wouldn't think that James' part in this movie would be small. Even if I wasn't familiar with the story at all (which I'm really not).... it
would be hard to see James take a small part in this or any movie after his many leading roles and growing popularity. Not to say that James thinks he only
deserves leading roles now because I'm sure he doesn't. His character is definitely not the lead... but I'm sure it's very significant.

lol Yeah, I thought about it a bit today in between my tretcherous note taking...Apparently the storyline for the movie does touch upon James' character
Valentin's private affairs between Kerry's character. It sounds like an interesting storyline overall, and for me it's becoming even more exciting
considering I don't really know anything about the story/life of Leo Tolstoy to begin with!
Did you also know that James has been 'attached' to the film for 2 1/2 years now? And they've been trying to get this filmed for about 17 years now. I also found that out today!

My guess would be budget problems. It's always something to do with money. Or maybe..... they haven't found the perfect Valentin until now
