Viola, thank you SO MUCH for the Trl video!! I've been wanting to see that appearance forever
 It was a great interview too. I love the fact that
he's so honest in interviews...he doesn't just say what will make him popular. Except...it was interesting hearing him try to dodge the question about
the success of Shameless...he's said in other interviews that he pretty much hated the direction that show ended up taking but here he skirts around the
issue by saying "we always thought it was something of quality. whether it was going to be done well or not, we didn't know". Very clever there,

That's a good question mouse! All I've ever heard James say was that he wanted to be Samwise Gamgee, yet I don't think I ever heard him mention
that he auditioned!
I wonder if Sean Astin would know who else auditioned...I could ask him in August when he comes to Toronto for a convention!

I still wonder if Sean Astin was the actor who was mean to him when he filmed Band of Brothers. If so, that just adds salt to the wound. First the guy was in
JM's favorite movie growing up. Then SA gets the part JM really wanted in LOTR. Then JM's treated like sh*t by the guy when he actually works with him
