You guys are so fast with the new videos! As soon as I found the Details video though justjared, I uploaded it to youtube (however, youtube being kinda
crappy lately, pretty much ruined the quality of it.. it was fine when I first previewed it, but ten minutes later it was just
 )
Anyway, here is also the Atonement interview. Again, I uploaded it yesterday, but had to reupload today, since the preview image was not showing up. Youtube, what is going on with you lately? (Thanks to however put it up on jmmblibrary! I love this interview) And here's the Details shoot.. again, the quality is not that great, unfortunately.

Thanks Theresa for finding that video!! It's a great one! I was browsing and happened upon this interview for Wanted by CNN en Espanol. Unfortunately, the
announcer speaks overtop of James so we can't hear his voice most of the time, but if anybody wants it, I can try my best to translate (I've studied
Spanish for 4 years, but I've never done translation). It was really interesting and there was some new stuff.

Is anyone else having problems with youtube? (I don't know if any one of you would know, since this only started happening very recently)..
It's extremely anoying. When I upload a video, it plays fine for the first 10 minutes or so, and then it suddenly just changes and the video quality goes down in a huge way. Any idea what could be causing this? The files are fine, I think.. they're in the flv format. I'd say this started happening this week only. |

How are you able to upload to Youtube in flv format?
 I've never been able to do it. I didn't think it was on their list of accepted file types.

Hmm I've always uploaded in flv... do you get an error message? Though, this problem stems from something else... and it's aggravating. I have a feeling that it's an internal problem with youtube.. I don't
think it has to do with your videos, since I tried out a couple on my 'test' account, and they're all unwatchable. Whereas, the same videos that I
tested out a week ago were totally fine. |

Yes, I get an error message when uploading flvs. Maybe they've changed it since I checked it last.
Youtube videos are playing fine on my end too Qwerty.

Theresa, any of the videos you already have uploaded will play fine. This seems to be a problem with just the recently uploaded videos (like within a day or
two).
I'm testing out different videos right now... some of them play fine.. very strange. I'll probably try to upload something later today to see if it works... |

Are you saying it plays fine for you? I see it as very pixelated.
Weird.  Can you maybe make a screencap of
it? I'll make one too right now.. so I can compare.
Do you see it like that? Edit: Can anyone let me know if that's how you see the video? I'm considering reuploading it, since the quality is really bad.

I assumed you had converted it to a different file type, which usually degrades the quality. Now I'm wondering if it's Youtube's encoding of flv
files, since it's probably a new thing they've been doing.

I don't know, I've uploaded flv files since the beginning (which would be this May).. never had a problem with them.. that is, until a few days ago.
Ok, just an update, I tried to upload the Becoming Jane interview (twice).. and nope, it's literally unwatchable. I tried another one, same problem. So, I've given up on them... There are two interviews that still work well, so I'll upload them both today, and I'm done. No more videos from me for a while... I hate you, youtube.

That is so strange, Theresa ....��Honestly,
I have no idea what's going on with youtube anymore.
Here are my last two uploads (thankfully, the quality seems to be good) This video should be a new one to everyone  �
James talking about his trip to Uganda.. it's really sweet. I have so much respect for him for doing this. And here's one some of you may have already seen, but it's one of my favourites. (I just love all of his Atonement interviews) It's short, but really really sweet
