And as I recall Tom and Jane do ficticiously get it on. SF10 is one of my favourite movies. I love all the different characters. - especially Benedict Cumberbatch's . He was hilarious in this film! As
some of you know, I saw him in a play a few weeks ago in London. No sign of the light bulb-shaped head. (

If anyone is looking for the Starter for 10 soundtrack and you have access to the FTP files, you can find it under the "audio" file in the
"Starter for 10" folder

I watched this yesterday for the first time! I thought it was a cute enough movie, though forgettable. I also won't be needing to buy it on DVD, if you
know what I mean. One viewing is enough for me, I think. I don't want to critisize the movie too much... it wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing
either (but then again, I wasn't expecing a masterpiece). James made it enjoyable.. and let me tell you, he still managed to turn me on even with that hair
and nerdiness. I also thought Benedict Cumberbatch was great, and I thought Alice's acting was stronger than Rebecca's.

well I saw the movie last saturday and hm sadly I wasn't really impressed. I like james but it wasn't his best movie in my point of view. I
couldn't laugh about the jokes and so on but well every actor needs a movie which isn't that great
just my 5 cents.

So I finally saw starter for 10. I'm still confused about the name of the movie and why it was called that. I also heard the term SFT used in a British TV
show (still didn't get the meaning). Anywho, the first half was blah; I liked the second half much better. I love the scene where he was getting ready for
date and his face turned red; it was so sweet how hard he was trying. And the hair, the hair, THE HAIR, I couldn't take it. The 80's was definitely a
bad hair decade.

maybe I'm totally wrong but I thought Starter for 10 means the sentence in a tv show which means First question for 10 points or pounds.

Well, I have to agree with you that Starter for 10 isn't a "10" movie, BUT I kinda liked the actor who played, what was his name? oh,
Brian... Question, Ladies: Would you give a chance to this kind of guy in real life? I mean a guy LIKE Brian, NOT JAMES HIMSELF, ladies! In the interview he did with Rebecca ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwWklzD73js) he said (3:50)
about Brian and Rebecca "they'd be great in bed together", somehow I find hard to imagine how Brian would be in... |

Honestly, nope, I wouldn't go for a guy like Brian... too nerdy, too clumsy, too.. much bad hair
. And I don't know about this whole being good in bed deal... I too find it
a bit hard to imagine. (umm.. pun intended? )

Heh, for my 5 cents, I <3 nerdy guys. Every guy I've dated has been a video game nerd. Or a sci-fi geek. Or both. So I'd probably give a guy
like Brian a chance. As long as he changed the hair XD Usually geeks are the sweetest guys... once you get past the geekdom anyway.

Would I go for a guy like Brian, hmmm never say never. I've have crushes on guys I thought I would never like. I like the way the character transformed
himself, that was really my favorite part. As far as being good in bed don't knock a nerd those smart quite types become different people in the boom boom
room

Brian the nerd is fine by me. Let's face it, (a) you could have a decent real conversation and (b) he would be so grateful for intimacy that he would
follow you around like a puppy and (c) because of that, would rarely let you down.
Some of the loveliest people were nerds or geeks at school.

My situation doesn't deal with Brian's character directly, but it's similar. I've noticed that with actors, I always
seem to go for the quirky guy. I think it definitely has something to do with their sense of humor. Like with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, I flocked directly toward Lewis. Yeah, Martin is a very handsome man, but something about Lewis' humor got to me. "Plot a course to the source of the purest little part of me." |

Brian was a real sweetie, and he had good reason for becoming what he was. I like to think that he was holding on to the last memories of his father and
doing/becoming something that would have pleased his father.
