Thank You serpenta and stateside. I've been lurking for quite sometime and decided it was time for me to finally join! And yes I have seen Atonement. As
soon as I realized James was in it I went out and rented it right away haha. I personally feel that that is his best movie. I couldn't believe it was the
same man!

Where is Nebraska?  It sounds cold.. like Alaska..

Tiffani - I liked Penelope too. I know there's a variety of opinions about his hair in that movie, but I like it. It suited his shaggy
gambler/musician persona in the film. And the movie has my favorite kiss! |

Haha Hannah Nebraska has very unpredictable weather but it's very beautiful. It's nice to meet someone from the Netherlands. What is it like there? And Helen I agree with you about James' hair in Penelope. I liked it a lot and I agree it fit his character. And I love that kiss! |

The kiss is the best thing in the movie and it is also the best movie kiss he ever did, if you ask me!
The Netherlands has a sea climate and it is very small. So I am at the east border of the country, but I can drive to the sea - which is the west border - in about an hour and a half. But we don't do that very often, because we feel that is much too far to drive regularly!
So where exactly is Nebraska?
And can I ask you how you found the board?

I know, but that covers a large part of a continent, so now I still don't know where Nebraska is! I know most of the
coast and border states and some mid-west states, but that's about it..

Yep right next to Iowa. I like Illinois better if you ask me. There's not much to do in my city even though it's pretty large.
Hannah I found the boards on IMDB. I was looking at a thread talking about James' outfit in Shakespeare Retold (the fabulous white pants haha) and that lead me here! It's funny because I watched Penelope for the first time on Netflix and then since we had just read Macbeth I decided to watch Shakespeare Retold. Didn't know James was going to be in there but it was a nice coincidence! |

Hello! I finally had some time to join. After reading through some posts and was laughing, smiling and feeling right at home, I knew I just had to! I'm
Nikki (Nicole) and live in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I'm married and have no babies just yet
I always liked James after I saw him in Penelope... but about 2 months ago after finally watching Atonement, well that sealed the deal into full blown celebrity crush!!! Since then I have watched almost all his films/ shows. I only have to watch State of Play and I think I've seen them all. I think I own about 85% of them now too  I've also spent WAY too many hours
on You Tube watching countless interviews and falling more into, well you know.... Anyways, I'm happy to have an outlet for my admiration for such a
talented, sweet and charasmatic man! This is my first time on a message board so I'll hopefully learn quickley! I've got to see about how to get one of
those fancy signatures most of you have  I'm looking forward to
reading through all the boards and learning even more about James (if thats possible  ) and about you too! Thanks!
