I'm happy it will be shown but was so hoping it would hit TIFF Here's the write up from that site: PREMIERE AT THE ROME INT*L FILM FESTIVAL 2009!
COMING SOON: *THE LAST STATION* TO BE RELEASED IN GERMAN THEATRES IN JANUARY, 2010!
MICHAEL HOFFMAN*s film about the last days in the life of Lev Tolstoy will be released in Germany later this summer. The film about the intrigues around the Russian author starring HELEN MIRREN, CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER and JAMES MCAVOY was shot from April through June 2008, among other locations on the castle of Stülpe and the station of Pretzsch in Sachsen-Anhalt. German distributor Warner Bros. is releasing the film in January, 2010.
