Ha ha ha Hannah!

As you know, Hannah, I've done it 3 times (successfully) so far. And the last one, while a novel in itself, is also part 1 of at least 3 parts. When I got half way through the word count, I realised that the full time line I had sketched out would not be completed in just one novel, so decided to make it a trilogy instead (like all good fantasy/SF ). So at least I know what I will be writing about (in the general sense) this time round. I just have to fit in enough time to re-read what I wrote last year and familiarise myself with the characters again.

I still really like the first one I wrote and would love to find the time and the inclination to do a proper edit of it.

The old Japanese fault finding strikes again! (Is it plugged in is it turned on?) I'm glad your computer problems have sorted themselves for the moment, but wouldn't working on the laptop be better for your back? You could set yourself up on the couch or bed with cushion support and work from there.

It was when my previous computer died and I had to go through all sorts of strange and wonderful conversions that I developed a private website (okay - a small ezboard - because I knew the setup formats) to store all my writing and so if I needed to I could access it anywhere I could log into the internet. I try to download pic files and the like whenever my laptop gets a little crowded too. I should do it more often, but you know how it is.
