I don't know if my post fits this thread but I didn't know where else to put it...

I attended the Austin City Limits Music Festival the past weekend. image Lots of musicians and people from all over the US and the world. One of the things the attendees do is to display flags and various other items (balloons, stuffed animals, signs, etc.) at the top of a tall pole; I think it's to help friends find each other in the crowd or may it's just to be silly (one of the local sayings is "Keep Austin Weird"). Anyway, at least 2 of these poles had Scottish Flags on display. I got so excited when I saw them; I thought to myself, maybe JM is here! Maybe we're listening to the same music. I thought about making my way through the crowd to see who was holding the flag. Then, I thought, no, of course it wouldn't be him; even as proud as he is of his heritage, he'd never draw attention to himself like that. I decided not to search out the owners, because I knew I would just be disappointed. I'll just pretend that he was there and that I left him alone so he could enjoy the music. image

Also, spent part of the day in a large tent with a (yes, a disco ball in a tent). Didn't do any dancing but I did watch a football game (American football, not soccer) . While there, I spotted someone wearing a ! Definitely not JM but it was a nice thought -- JM in his kilt!
