Hear hear.
And no need to apologise for dragging James into the conversation Kaber

I remember when I fell for him after seeing LKOS in January 2007, he wasn't famous yet. He was only know in the UK for Shameless and by kids under 8 for Narnia.
LKOS was the first film he was getting noticed with by a larger audience, but it didn't reach that larger audience until after Forest won an Oscar for it a month later.
Yet James had already filmed Atonement at that point and he was only a few months from starting the filming for Wanted, so he had already signed that deal way before as well.

And as he has said in many interviews in those days, he didn't really 'choose' anything. He just took any job that came onto his path because being in a freelance business like he is, you never know if you will be able to pay your next months rent. Took him over a year after that before he stopped saying that, and seemingly made enough money to be a little more certain about his financial situation.

There are usually years between the making of a film (let alone the auditions) and the moment it reaches an audience, so it's a common mistake to think he was already famous when he signed for Wanted. Yet I think the first projects he actually chose to do after he had gained a financial independence were LS and TDoR..

Still we can't look into his head, so who knows what else he may have been thinking when they offered him Wanted
