A lot of actors choose NOT to do big Hollywood films for many reasons, including maybe not wanting to be part of the media machine. Yes, lots of actors choose not to make the American market a career goal and there are hundreds who remain excellent actors. Success has many individual definitions. "Success" doesn't have to equal "fame" for many people. But there's no denying that the American market is a massive influence on a career. For the same reasons actors/musicians/entrepeneurs shun it, there are those who greatly welcome it.

James may not have know that Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman were to be cast in Wanted but it had to be known that it was going to be a major blockbuster. It's the nature of the genre. And as Kaber said, he knows now so we'll see what path he takes.
