No way, I NEVER said that, she was GREAT as Fiona that is why I was so shocked at her overacting in "Nowhere Boy". I think with a better director she would have been much better. She even said that the director let them do their own thing and she is not used to that. I think it showed this time. Great in "The Magdalen Sisters" Peter Mullan was the director. Lovely in "Is Anybody There" works with Michael Caine and John Crowley as director. Her last scene in "The Last Station" again she brought me to tears, like is Season 2 Ep.4 when Steve leaves. "Margot", "The Virgin Queen" and "The Last King" loved her in all of these. I hope she gets alot of buzz for her work (even it I didn't like it) because she, I think is one of the better actress out there today. So many actors with No talent get so much fuss made about them. I want to see someone as good as her be able to work with the best because it only makes her better. To me she is like Helen Mirren, she can play just about any part and be wonderful. Did anyone see Ann-Marie in "French Film" or "The Waiting Room"? She was cute in those movies but the movies were boring. That's all I was saying. I didn't mean to be harsh, now I feel bad, but I understand what you mean.

I love it when someone as lovely as she is gets noticed. With a child now I don't think she'll come to New York to do a play anytime soon, but I hope one day to see her on stage. Being a great stage actress is harder to do, most movie actors would never make it on the stage. There is only one Fiona and one Steve (hear that Showtime)! I did watch the movie on-line which isn't the best screen to watch it on. I will go and see it again in the movie theater comes October, because the movie was pretty good. orientalprincess, The type of part she plays and having a good company like The Weinsteins pushing for you, she could get a Oscar nomination. So we can keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
