There have been several tweets and RT's this morning that James is to record Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere
for BBC 4 radio w/ Benedict Cumberbatch & Sophie Okonedo. However,
there's no official source for this news and the OP deleted it, so it's
still just a rumor a this point. Neil Gaiman himself RT'd it but then
posted this:
The OP is a London talent agency, so I'm hoping this is something that's in the works. |

Collecting all the tweets about Neverwhere + some photos from the first read through... From Dirk Maggs (think he's directing):
From Neil Gaiman himself:
From actor David Harewood:
Photos tweeted of Christopher Lee and Ben Cumberbatch:

Thanks, Dana, for posting that update. I would have thought
there was time for James to do a 2-month shoot before DOFP, but guess
not. Maybe this means they're trying to get cameras rolling in March
rather than April, which would be a good thing. ![]() Just to be clear, THR also reported that "Despite reports, Laura Linney is not in negotiations nor has an offer to join the cast although there is interest in her to play a State Department official." Also, here's more from Neil Gaiman about the NEVERWHERE cast from his journal: That's left to right Benedict Cumberbatch, David Harewood, Natalie Dormer, Dirk Maggs, James McAvoy, David Schofield and Anthony Head, all gathered today to record the BBC Radio 4/Radio 4 Extra production of NEVERWHERE.
