Hi everyone! My name is Emilie and I live in South Carolina in the U.S. I found out about this message board from
Hannah's post about it at the IMDB James McAvoy message board. I'm 27 years old and back at school about to finish a second degree, so this message
board will be instrumental in helping me to avoid schoolwork!
 I only
became a fan of Mr. McAvoy after seeing him on the Academy Awards and thinking how handsome he was (and a Scottish accent to boot! ). Then I saw The Last King of Scotland and was hooked. I'm so excited
for Becoming Jane and Penelope to be released in the U.S., and then Atonement later in the year.

My font colour??? I did not change that, it is simply black (on a white background). Is it only my posts, or do you mean the whole board? what are the font and
background colours you see?
And is there anyone else with this problem? |

I can see the white background and you font in a light - but really light light light! - blue/grey. Almost impossible to read...but maybe is just a problem of

Greetings all...My name is Jean and I am from Rochester, New York (USA) I first saw James as Mr Tumnus but his "Hawtness" did not register with me at
that point...must have been something to do with those goat legs and all.
 Then I saw LKOS and at first I thought...mmmm....delicious accent and gorgeous eyes but
a wee bit thin. But what can I say...there was just something about him that kept drawing me back....(and a couple of really well *ahem* acted scenes). My age
is somewhere between birth and death and that's all I will say on that matter.. I have ordered every film that I could find and I think he was brilliant as Rory
O'Shea....leaves me a weepy, soggy mess everytime. So...that is me in a nutshell and I am glad that there are places like this to share our appreciation of
yummy scrumptious face....Cheers

By the way, I have no kids, but I could have had a couple of
kids in highschool by now! (If I had started early twenties) I love all the younger girls in here, but I am very happy to have someone a little older in here
as well. So that I don't feel so lonely in my age class anymore
However, I do believe you are as old as you want to be, and the young at heart never really age!! As I said, my mental age goes up and down between 12 and 80..
I LOVE that Monty Python picture!! That is exactly the scene I meant. Hilarious! What were they fighting about again? The European Swallow and the African Swallow, right? And then the cow goes over the wall!! *BOOOIIING Moooooooh*
Who is the other hot scot? There is only two I can think of: Ewan McGregor, but he is a bit young, or Sean Connery, who I have been a fan of since my teenager years (when I first saw him in Highlander. Ooooh the accent!!) Never liked him much as Bond, but everything he has done in the past 20 years is fabulous! There are two other scots of interest - First, Dougray Scot who is a lovely person (and a friend at work has met him on several occassions as he came from near
where she lived and went out with a friend of a friend for some time), Second - Jason Connery. I had a bit of a crush on Jason (yes, Sean's son)
particularly when he took over the role of Robin in Robin of Sherwood when Michael Praed left.
