Someone help. I am desperately seeking someone that has season 2 and 3 of Shameless that i can either borrow or buy from. I just rented season 1 and don't
want to skip to season 4 (mainly because James isn't in it), but since I am in the US, I can not download the episodes on 4oD. Does anyone happen to have
copies ?

I have Season 2 that you could borrow if you like.
 I bought it from some dude off of eBay. It will only play on a computer
(not on a DVD player), but it's better than being left in the lurch since who knows when these seasons will come out in Region 1 format.

Before it came out on DVD in my country I downloaded season 2 from Bittorrent. Then I used Nero to burn Video CD's of each episode that I could play in my DVD player. It is not high quality, but it wasn't half as bad as I expected. It did take several days to download, but in Bittorrent you can specify what it should download first, so I let it download the episodes in the right order, so I could watch one a day. So you could try that as well. Emilie, you can also do that with the files on your CD-R so you can watch them on TV 
Let me know if you are interested and I will track down the torrent for you

I just downloaded season 1 and I am almost finished downloading season 2 from utorrent (excellent quality but no subtitles). I watched the first season in one
night and I have to say that I am addicted. Did the guy who plays Frank Gallagher (David Threfall) win any awards for his role? He is one hell of an actor...I
also like the kid who plays Lip. And who doesn't love Kev, Veronica and Sheila!!!
Umm..I don't know what to think about the Steve/Fiona relationship. Where I'm from we would say that Steve was slumming by dating Fiona, which is an issue that is somewhat addressed in the show but I think there should have been more exploration into why he would have gotten himself involved in all of that family's drama. Steve is a "good guy" and all but I am surprised he stayed around that long (thank God for fiction). I guess that's why they created a Steve with a flaw (being a car thief is a pretty big flaw) to emphasize that he was no better than the Gallaghers despite his upbringing. My only complaint is that some of the psychology of the characters was underdeveloped or overlooked but still a great show..AND I also would have liked more Steve/Fiona sex scenes instead of Frank. |

Okay..I am in the middle of season 2 and I LOVE Veronica and Kev...I am so glad there is more of them in season 2. They are such an awesome couple and decent
people...definitely my fav couple...even more than Steve/Fiona. I understand their relationship more now that I have seen a few more episodes, and I have to
admit that I don't like Steve as a character, even though James is hot stuff...he isn't hot enough to make me like Steve...sorry. I also love
Sheila....she is sooo sweet and her phobia is endearing.

I agree with you about Steve, Jonnie. He does not prove himself to be good enough for Fiona. And Sheila is just off
the charts crazy and hilarious!
 I love it in the first season when
she chooses Frank to be her sex slave.

I LOVE Steve, Series 2 Steve is a bit of a miserable bastard, but I still love him lol.
I'm still sad about Series 4, I really wish they had just stopped at 3.
