I think that a few of us are Facebook members, but that information can only be found in the Members Only area (so that
it stays private). Once you get access to that topic, you'll be able to see it for yourself.

Bebo is big here, but I rather MySpace.
Facebook is the best of them all but none of my friends have it... |

You should recommend it to them, Sigh! MySpace gets dull pretty quickly. I like Facebook because you can play games
and do fun stuff, which is impossible on MySpace. Facebook is also cool because it's more private.

Read an article about Facebook the other day .. think it was in the Guardian... or was it the Times... or was it the Daily Mail... cannot find it online...
left it on sofa at home... (frantic search entails...)
but it was all about the main people behind Facebook... oh, boy... all I am saying is... over my dead body... while one might enjoy facebook as a way of interacting... do I really want the FBI to check on my social network unquestioned and without me knowing it? think it was in G2 of the Guardian on the Jan14th... googles like crazy...
well, well, me and the neocons never got on well anyhow... so I might be just me... Hah! Found it... if you go on the homepage of the guardian (think its guardian unlimited or something) and enter zuckerberg in the search function it pops up with a mention of a clarification they had to do ... the article is right below.... it´s by Tom Hodgekinson... do not want to upset anyone... am I turning into a spoilsport? Just gave me the willies, that article, it really did....

Actually you are right about that. But did you also know Google logs every search you do and links it to your IP number?

Doesn't that stuff get cleared though if you clean your cache and history, etc on your internet?

No, you clear the information that is saved on your own computer. You cannot clear any information others on the internet have saved about you.

Well, it should... that´s why they advise you to do exactly that if you clicked on childporn etc inadvertently ... but, who knows...
but what really freaked me out was the part about Peter Thiel especially... his whole "neocon thinktank nature has to be tamed let´s redefine humanity"-mindframe... do not think I will ever include him on my christmas-card-list...
