, Adam, the main character takes over his job. When writing for his
column, he makes most of the things up. He writes about imaginary people and weird fashion like green bowlers, that doesn't exist until he writes
about. He gets away with it for a while, subsequently gets sacked, loses his girlfriend (Emily Mortimer) to a richer guy called Ginger (David Tennant).
After accepting about 70 Pounds from the said fiancee and promising to never see her again , he informs her, that she sold her
, gets sent to war, finally comes to money - the weird military guy who
talked him out of 1000 pounds gives him 34000 Pounds, because the stupid horse he bet on won actually... Meanwhile she had a son, which is of course
Adam's.
While Adam has come to money her husband conviently
has run out of luck, Adam offers him the whole money to sort off, husband agrees.
When she comes home she is informed that she has been sold again, this
time apparantly to the love of her life. Again , they have no money and I guess they live happily ever after...

Boy, am I glad that I didn't watch the whole thing.
, the James'
