I have discovered the possibility of sub forums. I am going to try them out for a few films. Let me know if you think
this is an improvement or not. It means that we can have more than one thread about one film, so that includes a special thread where you discuss the film
without using spoilertags, and all the threads will be together (like the pictures thread as well) but it also means more clicking and more forums to 'mark
as read'.

I think the idea of these subforums
But one thing I've noticed is that new posts in subforums don't show up on the main page. For example, when there is a new post on the Wanted subforum, even if someone has posted on the Bollywood Queen thread half an hour previously, the directory has a NEW! Icon thing next to the Films TV Theatre Thread link, but the box at the side would still say Bollywood Queen Sophz456 00:00 Sorry if that made no sense.... That is a little annoying, but I can live with it if it can't be helped.

I know what you mean. But if you click on the word 'subforums' it will show the names of the forums and if they
have new posts it will show *NEW* after the name.
I can try different ways of showing the subforums though.. maybe that make it less confusing. Let me experiment with that a bit. EDIT: I just tested all three display options, but the second one is the pretty much the same, except that the dropdown menu is harder to see and the third one is even worse, because it just shows the links next to eachother under the name of the parent forum but now 'new' behind it (I think.. I could only try with my own posts)

I don't know if it's happening to you, but when I click on a message of the Wanted subforum which is supposed to be the last message of the thread (the
new one) it always opens on the first page of the thread...

Yup.. that happens to me too..
I will ask about this at the support board tomorrow (so remind me) I also noticed you go back to the main forum when you click 'mark forum read' in a subforum, while I would expect to go back to the parent forum. But maybe there are settings for that that I missed. I'll look into it. But now it's bedtime.. (2.59 am..
