It's been confirmed! James will be in the new movie about Tolstoy (The Last Station). Also Anne-Marie will play the part of Tolstoy's daughter, Sasha.
Wouldn't it be a great sub-plot if Tolstoy's assistant (James) would fall in love with Tolstoy's daughter?

"Talk about an ensemble replacement. In an attempt to replace Anthony Hopkins and Meryl Streep in The Last Station, Warner Bros. has found Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren.
Helen Mirren, Christopher Plummer for The Last Station
Christopher Plummer and Helen Mirren will co-star with James McAvoy and Paul Giamatti in The Last Station. Based on Jay Parini's 1990 novel, the film will explore the turbulent final year in the life of the Russian writer and philosopher and his troubled marriage.
Giamatti has been cast to play Tolstoy's trusted follower Chertkov, a supporter of the writer's nonviolent socialist Christian movement who becomes Sofia's cunning adversary, while McAvoy plays a naive private secretary sent by Chertkov to work for Tolstoy.
McAvoy's wife, Anne-Marie Duff, has also been picked up to play Tolstoy's daughter Sasha."
